 Rozanne Abney
Organist
Rozanne is the organist for our traditional Celebration Worship service every Sunday at 11:00 AM. She sometimes accompanies our choir and offers the occasional piano or organ solo for our services.
In several churches in Georgia, Rozanne has accumulated 40 years of experience playing organ and piano. She started at First Baptist of LaFayette GA playing there for 15 years. She then spent 2 years at First Baptist of Summerville, GA and then 8 years at Wildwood Baptist before coming to Faith UMC.
Born and raised in LaFayette, GA, Rozanne earned her degree in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University with a minor in music. She's taught P.E to all grades K-12.
She and her husband Denny have been married 36 years and have four children; Lucy, Patrick, Noelle, and Bo. All six of them love basketball and have all played the game. Rozanne enjoys cross stitch in her spare time and loves yard sales claiming she gets to, "use things in ways they were not intended to be used."
