Outreach Ministries
When you have done it to the least of these, you have done it to me. Matthew 25:40
Faith UMC participates in many projects and ministries which share the love of Christ by meeting people's physical as well as spiritual needs.
Mission Statement
To fulfill our God-given mission, we will scatter seeds of love and the Good News of Jesus Christ locally, nationally and world-wide, in the way of self-giving love.
Goals
To keep outreach in the forefront of the congregation and to call upon every member to be actively involved in Christ's great compassion.
Our outreach ministries are efforts to reach out in love to our neighbors, both here and around the world. They require your support, your prayers, and your involvement. If you have an interest in this special outreach ministry, or desire more information about getting involved, please contact the church office.
Manna Pantry (Community Food Pantry)
Each week, members provide food assistance to needy families through our church's Food Pantry. Donations of food and volunteer time from the congregation are needed and welcome.
United Methodist World Ministry
Through our United Methodist connectional ministry, our church supports overseas missionaries, provides food and shelter for refugees and the hungry, builds new churches, provides education scholarships, and a whole host of other ministries of service.
Other Projects
Our church also supports various local and international ministries financially and with volunteers. These include Meals on Wheels, Community Church Shop, Bartow Christmas, Salvation Army, Operation Christmas Child, Red Red Cross Disaster Team, Action Ministries Transitional Housing, United Methodist Children's Home and Wesley Homes, plus much more.
