Sing A New Song To The Lord!

Our Music Ministry offers something for all ages and talent levels to be able to praise God through music.

Mission Statement

We acknowledge that music was designed not for the glory of humanity, but as the reflective beauty of the nature of God, to glorify Him to all humanity. We desire to use our voices, instruments, and hearts to lead people closer to God, even as we seek a personal experience with God as we learn and perform music. 

We acknowledge that different people connect with different styles of music. We, therefore, present two major styles of music, traditional and contemporary. Differing by song selections as well as performance styles, each of these divisions purposes to draw the listener into a spiritual experience through their distinct approaches.

Goals

• To provide musical experiences that will help the listener weave a sense of the sacred into their daily lives.
• To lead corporate worship in a manner that leads to a greater love and knowledge of God.
• To present music that engages the mind, touches the heart, and opens the worshiper to God.
• To prosper an attitude of servanthood among all participating musicians with the realization that they are uniquely gifted by God to do the work of music ministry.

Groups

Adult Celebration Choir

The Faith Adult Choir sings each Sunday at the 10:30 AM Worship Service. A blend of traditional and contemporary music is sung. The choir also presents two major musicals each year.

FaithAlive Praise Team

The Faith-Alive Praise Team is composed of singers and instrumentalists who add special and inspirational songs to our Sunday morning Worship Service.

Gospel Gals

The Gospel Gals Women’s group sings periodically.

Three G’s

Mixed group singing Gospel Music.

Adult Bell Choir

Meets each Sunday night for rehearsal from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. The choir performs periodically at worship services throughout the year.

Kids Bell Choir

Meets each Sunday night for rehearsal from 6:15 - 7:00 PM. The choir performs periodically at worship services throughout the year.

Children's Choir (Age 3 through Grade 5)

The Children’s Choir practices each Sunday during the school year (August-May). The choir performs periodically in services, and presents seasonal musicals.
